I’ve begun article marketing too. I just will not use ‘article spinning’ because ethically it’s little better than plagiarism, and the result may in fact be inferior to plagiarism. I know of my own writing, one paragraph builds on the ideas presented on the former and to take any one of my paragraphs out of context and add it to another author’s paragraph…. bad idea.

The stuff I write personally, it has my distinctive voice and writing style to brand it and the quality, because I know what I’m talking about – has got to be far superior.

So, is the page-rank and back-links worth putting out so much crappy material and associating your site with such crappy material?

If you put out quality material, as Google improves it algorithms, you’ll almost always win.
