Quite apart from baking it more attractive to Google and other search engines I believe that a site should be useful and not just a waste of space. I don;t use MS email or browsers, I use fast mail for email and firefox for a browser. I find them much more stable too. I've got four accounts, and often in the middle of reading or sorting through one account I'll click to delete an email and the Windows Live site will change users on me, taking me to one of my other accounts. It sometimes takes me half an hour just playing around with it until I can read and delete all the emails I've received for that day.
